I am so "HONORED" to be teaching at the new HNR School District. I am looking forward to being a part of a blended district. I have been teaching for 27 years. I started my career at St. Jerome School in Oconomowoc. I taught First Grade and Elementary Spanish. I came to Neosho School 15 years ago.I have been teaching kindergarten for those 15 years. I have loved every minute of it.
My path to Education took many turns! In 1980 I received my B.A degree in Spanish and Behavorial Science from Mount Mary University. During the years from 1980 to 1989, I worked with emotionally disturbed/physically disabled children at a training center. In 1989 I went back to school.I have a B.S in Elementary Education and Spanish from Carroll University. In 2010 I received my Master's degree from National Louis University in Curriculum.
When I am not at school, I like to spend time reading and taking walks! I have a 23 year old daughter named Hannah. She lives in Waunakee. She is living her dream! She works at a vet clinic and she is the manager of a dog day care. She has always loved animals so this is her dream job! The only downside is I don't get to see her very often. It feels strange to have a quiet apartment!
I am so blessed to do what I LOVE every day! I love this school, community and my fellow teachers. I am in awe every day of what my kids can do in the classroom. My motto: Live life to the fullest!
