- Welcome to my HNR webpage! My name is Jill Sarnow and I joined the Honor School District family as the School Counselor for both the Elementary and Intermediate schools at the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year.
As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, personal, and social development of all students. I look forward to offering support to not only the students and staff at HNR, but the families and community as well.
- I do host classroom counseling lessons twice a month. This happens at all grade levels. I can meet with students individually and in small groups **. I typically use brief/solution focused interventions with a student-centered approach as well as bibliotherapy, art therapy, and mindfulness. I am more than willing to meet with parents, and truly enjoy collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of all HNR School District students and families.
Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent. I encourage you to reach out if you have concerns regarding your child. If you would like for me to meet with your child for any reason, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I am here to help students achieve their personal, social and academic goals as well as inspire them to become the very best versions of themselves!
- The easiest way to reach me would be to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can also be reached by phone at (920)-625-3531 ext. 1120 at the elementary and (920)-673-2920 at the intermediate.
- I am excited to get to know all of our students and work with the amazing staff that make up the HNR School District family!
