School Happenings
LUNCH MENU: September 2020
Don't forget to take advantage of the FREE Lunch Program! This is offered for ALL of our Students K- 8th Grade!  Try it out - you may find it saves you some time and stress in the mornings and your students will be able to eat a hot well balanced meal at lunchtime!

SAVE THE DATE: Washington DC Parent Information meeting is coming on Wednesday, October 7th at 6:30 pm in the Intermediate Cafeteria. This trip is for 7th & 8th grade students. Visit the Washington DC page for more details!

LIBRARY UPDATES from Mrs. Knight:   Please read Mrs. Knights Sept. 8th update regarding the library and this years procedures.  Happy Reading!

PICTURE RE-TAKE DAY:  Save the Date for picture re-take which is on October 7th at both buildings. ELEMENTARY: 7:45- 9:15 & INTERMEDIATE: 10:30 - 11:30.   Plan to be there if you were unable to take your photos at Open House OR if you are not happy with your original school pictures.

With all fall sports you will need to have a concussion form signed and your updated Dr. physical form information on file (this information needs to be updated every 2 years). 
CROSS COUNTRY:Cross Country is offered to all 5th - 8th grade students.  Mrs. Landgraf will be the coach and she is taking sign-ups currently.
VOLLEYBALL Sign ups are now open - please let Mr. Schaefer know if you are interested in participating in Volleyball this year.  Volleyball is 5th - 8th grade girls.

Community Happenings
CURBSIDE MEALS: Community Meals are provided at NO CHARGE for anyone 18 and under.  The meals must be ordered HERE online between 9AM Friday-9AM Monday.  All 5 meals for the week will be picked up on TUESDAYS at HoNoR Intermediate between 12:30 - 1:00 pm at the door marked "CURBSIDE MEALS".   See the informational sheet below for the meal selections for September.

The rise in the use of vaping devices and other substances among youth is a growing concern. Are you familiar with carts? Dabs? Box mods? If you have young people in your life, you should be.


The Wake Up Call presentation, a program of Your Choice, provides practical information on current drug trends, a walk through of a teens' bedroom with more than 50 red flags that could indicate substance abuse as well as proactive parenting strategies to keep your child substance free.
