2021-2022 School Year CALENDAR
: As you look forward to future events into the 2021-2022 school year, please take a look at the HNR School District 2021-2022 School Calendar
to help with planning around days off of school.
Don't forget to take advantage of the FREE Lunch Program! This is offered for ALL of our Students K- 8th Grade! Try it out - you may find it saves you some time and stress in the mornings and your students will be able to eat a hot well balanced meal at lunchtime!
MASKS NEEDED every day! Please help us and help your student with making sure that they have a mask for school every day. We are recommending that they put a "spare" mask in their backpacks in case they forget theirs at home. We are handing out many disposable masks everyday for those that forget one at home. We really could use your help in making sure the students "mask up" with their own masks - they are much more comfortable to wear all day! Thank you greatly for your help in this department!

for details about the tournament, blood drive, and more!
CADE holds a special place at the HoNoR School District where he was a student, and here is a bit of his story: Cade Werner attended Saylesville and Neosho Schools for all his elementary and middle school years; his family is deeply rooted in the Rubicon area. Our first year of consolidation at HNR was Cade's 8th grade year. He had a love for sports, hunting, and especially his family. He was well liked and loved by many. While on his way to school, he was involved in a car accident. Tragically, Cade lost his life on March 14, 2017, from injuries sustained in this accident.
During this difficult time, the Werner Family was able to turn Cade's loss into a blessing for others. When asked about organ donation, they said YES! Which resulted in the donation of Cade's heart to a 4-year old boy, his liver to a 15-year old girl, and his kidneys to two gentlemen.
Over the past 4 years, Play4Cade has:
- become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
- established a scholarship endowment at the HUHS Foundation
- established an HNR Athletic Scholarship
- given back to the Rubicon Ball Club
- given to Versiti (Donate Life)
- and many more other local causes
The most recent goal that they are currently working on is the track at Honor Intermediate in Cade's memory. They broke ground this past fall and anticipate to complete it this spring! Play 4 Cade is SO excited for everyone at HNR to use it!
