Special Education

Special Education Referral Process

Some students have unique individual needs and may require special education. Special education is a process
of educating children through specially designed instruction. Students in special education receive an
Individualized Education Plan (IEP) which is used to help create accommodations/modifications for students in
order to make classroom content more accessible.
If you have questions about special education, or would like to discuss a special education referral for your child,
please contact the school office.
The Annual Notice of Procedural Safeguards  outlines your rights and protections under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Wisconsin state law regarding special education services.
