We doubled our goal amount meaning we have twice as many workers so it will hopefully cut down on wait times...
Extreme winter weather in some parts of the country and seasonal illnesses often make it difficult for the American Red Cross to maintain a sufficient blood supply at this time of year. Healthy individuals are urged to give now. We understand some may have experienced a long wait last year so we are prepared to see all presenting donors at this blood drive.
The need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.
Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!
