Let HNR’s Ski and Snowboard Club help you survive this winter!
 
Are you interested in learning how to ski or snowboard?
Are you a season pass holder and just looking to have fun with your friends on the slopes?

Grade Levels:  Anyone 7 years and older, Parents, teachers, and Friends too!

(Need a minimum of 30 paid participants)

 

Please make sure your child has a buddy or parent to ski with when you sign up.  I will not always be on the hill or be able to be with all the children. Also, if this is your Childs first time on the Hill coming the first night would be greatly appreciated.

Where:  Little Switzerland Ski Hill, Slinger

 

Lessons: FREE lessons this year for beginner terrain with the purchase of the lift ticket package. 

These lessons are great for new students or returning students who have not confidently mastered our beginner area last season. These lessons are self paced using a station based learning area progressing up the beginner hill, some students may finish before the four weeks depending on their skills. They may free ski or snowboard using their rental equipment and ticket. Little Switzerland does not teach the chair lift in group lessons. 

 

Lesson Time: 4:30pm-6:30pm

Lesson Age: 7 years-18 years

Bus transportation will be provided ONE WAY from Honor Intermediate School and Honor Elementary School to the hill. 
Parents are responsible for picking up their child at the hill.  The hill is open from 4 pm - 10 pm. 
 
There will be supervision at the hill until 7:30 pm; parents are responsible for their child after 7:30 pm.
 
If you child is in Elementary please make sure they have someone to ski with and that an adult is available for the first date to help with gear.
 
 
Parents and older siblings may join this program.  Children under 7 are welcome to get tickets and rental through our program but can't participate in the group lessons and they need to be supervised at ALL times by an adult (not including the ski club coordinator/ chaperone) on the hill.   
 
 
This opportunity is a lot of fun and a great way to make life-long memories with family and friends.

We do not teach the chair lift in group lessons.  Students looking for more instruction are encouraged to sign up on our website for private lessons.  


Weather

Little Switzerland will update all hill closing due to weather conditions by noon. All closings will be posted on our Facebook page and website. Please keep in mind we are a winter seasonal sport. If your group outing has been canceled we will use your groups scheduled make up. If our hill is open your groups outing will run, with the exception of school being cancelled.

Refunds & Cancellations

All group enrollments are non refundable and non transferable. In the event that a student must drop out of the program due to medical reasons a doctors note must be provided to Little Switzerland. In return the student will receive a Little Switzerland coupon code that will expire at the end of the season. No cash or check refunds given. Little Switzerland does not provide a make up session or credit if the student has other conflicts and can not attend.

Bags & Personal Belongings

We recommend all bags and equipment be labeled with your students name, school group, and phone number. Little Switzerland is not responsible for any personal belongings or gear that is left behind. Lockers are available in rentals to keep your items safe, lockers are .75 cents per use. Ski Key locks are available for purchase in our Pro Shop to keep your equipment safe.
